In these changing times, art is there to help us to interpret the moment. Art brings us together. Creates conversations. Helps us connect. Art deepens our understanding of the world, expands our views and builds our compassion for others.

AWE believes in the transformational power of art. We’ve seen it work its magic on our gallery floor and in our community. 2022 was a great year for AWE. We made some amazing positive impacts on our community. We worked with community partners like the House of Sophrosyne to help people struggling with substance misuse using the power of art. We launched an Emerging Artist in Residence program and a fun, monthly art event called ‘AWE at Night’. But we’ve only just begun.

With your support, we can create digital, awe-inspiring digital experiences. We can partner with valued organizations like the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, and expand our accessibility programs. We can take our art collection out of the building, and onto the streets, expanding our successful ‘Look Again! Outside’ project from Downtown Windsor across the City.

At AWE, we provide experiences that are eye-opening, life-changing, and utterly transformative, sparking conversations that will drive positive change in the Windsor-Essex community.
